A worried guy needs your advice, please kindly read what he wrote below and drop an advice for him
I am Ekene, from imo state. I have a girl (chioma) who I've been seeing for the past almost 2yrs now. She's a student and from imo state too. We love each other and we are like pallies. She's a friend, girl friend, best friend and would be wife to me. She completes me.
Last christmas I invited her to my village for the first time to come and spend a day or two so that she can get to know my mum and family. My sisters and brothers like her so much, I mean so much, but I have just one little problem, my mother.
My mum was nice to her when she came and treated her well. But while she was around, I was having a gist with my mum and she told me outrightly that she doesn't like my girl friend that's my chioma. When I asked her what her reasons are. She said she's not tall and she's not as beautiful as she wants my wife to be. Though she's in her final year in ABSU and not working yet.
Here's the thing. As a man am not that tall I am 5feet 7inch. And from my looks am a handsome guy not hyping or praising myself. And she's also 5feet 7inches. We are of the same height. She to isn't ugly. If am to rate her beauty she like 55% in a scale of 1 - 100. Which isn't bad. She is the best friend I've ever seen in girls. She completes me.
My mum said tthats just the only reason she doesn't like her and right now am I am working and earns above N150k a month and I want to settle down. And am kinda thinking this will be a stumbling block for us when we want to tie the knot. And I couldn't tell her when she left my place. Cos we were all happy and had fun. And I never told her, but its been bothering me. Don't want it to affect us. I love my mum and so love my girl. And now my mum is on the note that she's looking for wife for me. Though I told her not to look for anylonger that am not searching. And she's like ok for now.
House what do I do? Shld I continue with my girl without telling her. Since I told her my mum liked her. Or shld I tell her? Don't wanna loose her
