January 14, 2014 President Jonathan has signed the Same S3_x Prohibition Act into law, drawing mixed reactions from most Nigerians. The Scoop’s Abigail Anaba took this photo in a hotel in Abeokuta, the Ogun capital. And that was even before Jonathan signed the law. So if the police was already so serious about implementing this law even before it was signed, expect to see more of such signs.

Following the success of his ‘Rumours Night club’ in Ikeja, music star, 2face Idibia has expanded by launching another Rumours Nite Club around Mile 2, FESTAC Town, Lagos.





Dailypost has gathered that the African Queen crooner spent about N250 Million on the 1000 guest capacity club which opened its doors in the New Year to fun seekers.


The multi-millionaire property belonged to ex-Super Eagles striker, Victor Agali, before it was purchased and converted into a night club.

On why he delved into the club business, the CEO of Hypertek Records and Entertainment, 2face told PUNCH that “I am not only an artiste, I’m also an entrepreneur.”

He further revealed his plans to have the “Rumours Night club” in major cities in Nigeria and in Africa.

”I want to make the night club a model like Jay-z’s Club 40/40. I want to have my clubs in major cities in Nigeria and one in South Africa, Europe and the US.” He said

Many women may dream of having legs that go on forever. For Alexandra Robertson, however, it’s no dream – it’s reality.

With her astonishing 47in pins, the British model is helping the nation inch ahead in the battle of the long-limbed beauties.

Miss Robertson, 20, decided to find out how she measured up after Russian trainee lawyer Anastasia Strashevskaya scooped her nation’s Miss Longest Legs, with a seemingly unbeatable 42in.And she was amazed to find out that hers were a full five inches longer.

Miss Robertson, who stands a statuesque 6ft 1in and is juggling a musical theatre degree with work as a model, said: ‘It is crazy – I had no idea my legs were quite that long.’

It is not only her perfect pins that will make her the envy of women everywhere. She is also a 34 DD and wears size 10 dresses.
Miss Robertson, from Blackpool, began her modelling career at 18, when she entered a competition in her home city. She was spotted by a local agency and has gone on to model bridal wear and lingerie.

She said: ‘I do get some stares and I suppose I do intimidate men sometimes, especially in my high heels, but it’s not intentional. I often hear things like “do you play basketball?” but I just turn around and reply “no, do you play mini-golf?” and we end up having a laugh.'

Fortunately Miss Robertson’s height doesn’t intimidate her boyfriend of two years, Laurson Moston, 21.

At 6ft, he is only an inch shorter than her. ‘He doesn’t mind my height at all,’ she said. ‘He did ban me from wearing really high heels when I’m with him, though, because I tower over him then.’

Being tall is something of a family trait. Miss Robertson’s sister Lorna Rycroft, 33, is the same height as her.

But it also has its pitfalls. Miss Robertson said: ‘Getting clothes to fit, especially fashion clothes, is a bit of a nightmare.’
Karen Jean Cookson, who runs Miss Robertson’s modelling agency Angels Elite, said she ‘has a fabulous personality’.

“My Pastor Husband Impregnated My Friend” – Woman Tells Court

“My pastor husband is a womaniser, he impregnated my friend,’’ a 40-year-old trader, Mrs Iyabo Olusoji, told an Igando Customary Court on Thursday in Lagos.

Iyabo told the court while responding to a divorce suit filed by her husband, Taiwo, that her husband slept with her friend and impregnated her.


“My husband runs after anything in skirt, he flirts around with some of his female members, he also slept with my friend and got her pregnant,” she said.


She accused Taiwo of using charm to marry her, claiming that she initially went to Taiwo’s church for prayers when she was having marital problem that Taiwo gave her soap to bath.

“I went to Taiwo to seek help concerning my marriage that was collapsing; he gave me soap to bath with that my former husband will come back.

“After using the soap, instead of my husband and I to settle our differences, it became worst and I don’t know how I became one of Taiwo’s wives.”

According to her, her husband always beat her anytime she goes to his church to ask for money and he will not leave her until he sees blood on her.

Iyaboi, mother of one, consented to dissolution of the the union, saying that she was no longer in love and that Taiwo was only keeping her as a sex tool.

Taiwo, 53, begged the court to dissolve the seven-year-old marriage, citing Iyabo’s constant embarrassment and defamation.

He said that Iyabo always came to his church to embarrass and defame his character in the presence of his members.

“She will come to my church, lock me up in the presence of my members, calling me all sorts of names like thief, woman wrapper, cultist and other names.

“There was one day she came and Unclad herself in the presence of my congregation claiming that I abandoned her for two years,” the estranged husband said.

He pleaded with the court to dissolve the union, saying that that he was tired of his wife’s bad character and that he was no longer in love with her.

The Presiding Officer, Mr R.I. Adeyeri, adjourned the case to Feb.3 for judgment. (NAN)

Telecommuunication Giant 'MTN' Denies Inflating The Price Of Their Recharge Cards

Have you bought MTN recharge cards over the expected price this year? Retailers of MTN recharge cards have alleged an increase in the price they buy recharge cards in bulk as responsible for increase in the retail price. Some retailers add N20 over the normal price (based on value) of all MTN card denominations they sell. For instance a N200 MTN card may be sold at N220. The arbitrary increase is applicable to only MTN recharge cards in most parts of Lagos. Some retailers said the cards were scarce and dealers have now capitalised on the scarcity to increase their retail prices. “MTN cards are scarce in Lagos and dealers are selling to us at increased prices, so we too have to add N10 or more to each denomination to recoup our money,” a retail vendor, Emeka Ogor, told Thisday. Worried about this development, the management of MTN has therefore said it has not effected any retail price


increase in any of the recharge card denominations, stating that the face value of all its recharge card denominations remain the same. Corporate Services Executive, MTN, Mr. Wale Goodluck, said: “We have not effected a price increase and the retail price of the various denominations of our recharge cards and recharge vouchers remain the same. “Our recharge vouchers come in the following denominations: N1,500, N750, N400, N200 and N100, and must be sold at the face value.” Disturbed by the new development which started last week, Goodluck said: “Any such hike is contrary to MTN’s wishes or knowledge. MTN has a well-established distribution structure and all our authorised partners within this structure are obliged to sell recharge cards at their face value. “Any variance from the authorised face value of recharge cards is without MTN’s knowledge or authority.” “MTN’s 55 million customers can purchase airtime via recharge cards or recharge vouchers as well as through a virtual top-up. The airtime recharge options are generally distributed via a very extensive trade and distribution network which has over the years successfully enhanced accessibility to airtime and customer convenience,” he said. Goodluck assured customers that the company was working assiduously to arrest the situation and urged its customers in the affected areas to explore other options of purchasing their airtime, such as the MTN Virtual Top Up (VTU) or MTN Auto-Top Up.
