Globacom Angry With D'banj For Featuring in MTN's Kcee's 'Emmah' Video?
D'banj's multi-million Naira brand endorsement deal with Globacom Nigeria is presently being threatened!
The reason is not unrelated with the fact that he featured in the music video of Emmah, a song by Kcee, an ambassador of MTN, Globacom’s main rival.
You see, though endorsements are lucrative to artists, it prohibits them from associating with elements of their endorsing companies’ rivals.
It was for this reason that Tiwa Savage could not perform at the prestigious Sister With Soul concert last year.
She is an MTN ambassador and the concert was sponsored by Etisalat.
Omawumi, another Globacom ambassador, was also affected by her endorsement last year as, when she wanted to shoot the video of Warn Yourself, the song in which she featured Wizkid, she had to cut his vocals from the video as she couldn’t feature him in it any longer because he was an MTN ambassador.
You will also recall that Kunle Afolayan was dropped by Glo for featuring "Etisalat's now MTN's Saka' in his hit movie, Phone Swap.
Oh well...I wonder what fate shall befall D'banj!

I Cry When Ever I Read Blog Comments - Halima Abubakar
In a recent interview with the Netng, Halima Abubakar opened up on her feelings whenever she reads blog comments
"That’s like physical bullying. Online, they are invisible. I believe if you have a problem with me, you should approach me. But if you go online and comment as anonymous or use a strange name, you are still bringing yourself down. Yes, you would make me feel sad, but the damage will not be permanent, but temporary until I am strong enough not to read those comments again. I am going to say it that I am not one of those actresses that say they don’t read blogs. I do. I have been reading blogs for the past five years or so, but I have never commented. Sometimes I am pushed to insult everybody there and comment under anonymous. But then I tell myself, well, they would always remain anonymous while I stay relevant. And so, I bear most of the insults and try not to be bothered about them.It was not easy. I was depressed for a long time because of things like that. I just felt that people didn’t like me. I didn’t understand how people could still hate me even when I know I am one of the nicest people in Nollywood. I am not disrespecting anybody, I am just saying that even if someone has hurt me several times, I will still be nice to the person. People just go ahead and bash me for no reasons. They don’t even know me and they are saying this and that. Before, I will cry and cry and get depressed. But now, I don’t even bother myself anymore. They don’t know what I’m going through and they don’t know my story."

Surrounded by friends and family, and with their mother Becky and father Otis in the front row, the sisters took turns to say their vow as the others watched. Sadly, their ailing mother passed on just 12 hours after they got married.
Sarah said, "We are happy that she's here, but this will probably be the last big thing that we do with her. It's not like losing a mom, it's like losing a mom and a best friend and anyone would want their best friend at their wedding. Our wedding wouldn't be the same if she wasn't there to experience it with us."
The reception was held several days after Mrs Swales had passed away.

The First Picture Of The Nun Who Gave Birth Claiming She Never Knew She Was Pregnant
The circled picture is the first one of the 33-year-old nun and new mother Sister Roxana Rodriguez who gave birth to a baby boy last week without knowing she was even pregnant. If you missed the story, Read it HERE
Her picture was published in the Italian daily newspaper Corriere Della Sera, who have carried out an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the birth of her baby Francis. Findings reveal that the father of her baby is an old flame of hers from when she was younger and the man is not even aware he now has a
son.
Sister Roxana claims she feels no guilt for her act but she knows she has incured the anger of her superiors, and fellow nuns at her convent. So, she has written an apology letter to her convent's Mother Superior general Elvira Petaraca - the woman who in September she solemnly promised to follow her vows of 'chastity, poverty and obedience', the three main pillars of the Little Disciples of Jesus Order.
One nun who answered the telephone at the convent, when she was asked if the nuns would visit Sister Roxana at the hospital, said:
'No we must certainly not be going to visit her. What she has done is not right at all. She has betrayed her vows. She will not be coming back here.'

It is quite funny. I think everybody just tried to marry Genevieve and I before we actually got close. I didn’t shoot much movies with Genevieve like I did with other actresses. I think I shot five movies with her. I have never had such feeling for her. We were just colleagues who wanted you people to feel the way you are feeling now. It tells you that we played our roles very well.
Why were you dropped as a Glo ambassador?
I don’t know but I think they told us that they switched to musicians. I don’t have to bother myself about why or who dropped me.
